One quick question: what do you most want help with?

Thank you. This helps us shape the beta.

Two different clocks

Most routines are built for a 24-hour cycle.Yours runs on about 28 days.

Men24 hours

Men’s key hormones follow a roughly daily rhythm, so the same routine tends to fit most days.

Women~28 days

Women’s hormones shift across a monthly cycle, so energy, focus, and recovery change week to week.

You don’t have to be the same every day.
Different bodies need different plans. Aava is built for yours.

What’s at stake
25%

more of their lives spent in poor health. That’s women compared with men, on average.

23 days

a year spent working through cycle symptoms, at about a third less productivity.

500+ days

of extra healthy life for each woman, about 7 more days every year, if the women’s health gap closed.

McKinsey Health Institute & World Economic Forum, Closing the Women’s Health Gap, 2024. Schoep et al., BMJ Open, 2019 (32,748 women).

Pushing through every day isn’t a strategy.
Knowing when to push is.

Your inner seasons

Four seasons, every month.

Each phase of your cycle has its own strengths.
Aava helps you use them instead of fighting them.

Inner winterRest and reset

Energy is at its lowest. Do less, recover more, and let your body lead.

Inner springBuild momentum

Energy and confidence climb. A good time to start what you’ve been putting off.

Inner summerShow up and speak

Outward energy peaks. Pitch, connect, and make the visible move.

Inner autumnFinish and protect

Turn inward. Edit, wrap up, and guard your energy.

A quick daily check-in, and Aava shapes your day around your season.

Why I'm building Aava

I spent years as a software engineer in the Bay Area, trying to keep up with routines built for a body that’s the same every day. Mine isn’t. Neither is any woman’s.

Then came breast cancer and corporate burnout. Both taught me to listen to my body instead of fighting it.

Aava is the support I wish I’d had: a cycle-aware lifestyle app that helps you understand your natural rhythms and care for your body and mind, without having to choose between your wellbeing and your ambitions.
